Is it a good idea to come out as gay, or should I wait things out?
This is quite embarrassing, but over the past few months, I’ve learned that I like men (as a guy), though only the more feminine ones. This was a real shock for me. And although I haven’t fully come to terms with it yet, I’ve accepted that I see myself in the future in a relationship with another man. The problem is, I’m still in middle school, which feels even more embarrassing. Nearly all of my social structures would shatter from such a reveal, as the school I attend is quite homophobic. But that’s not the biggest issue. I discreetly swayed a conversation with my mom toward her thoughts on LGBT stuff. She said she would kill herself if I ever did anything like that. That was surprising because earlier in the conversation, she said she didn’t care about other LGBT people. I know she wasn’t bluffing, she frequently threatens this type of thing, and it’s always nerve-wracking. She kept repeating it, too. Now I don’t know if I ever want to come out. I wouldn’t want someone to die because of that. Could you please give me some advice on whether I should maybe try to change her mind or wait until I’m an adult to even think about this kind of thing?I'm enjoying kingmaker but not loving the time management so far. Should I move on to Righteous or push through?
I just started a playthrough of kingmaker recently. It's my first ever experience with the pathfinder systems. I've played baldurs gate 1, 2 and 3. Plus Divinity: original sin 2 and pillars of eternity. As of right now, I am legitimately enjoying (though not loving) kingmaker. But I'm not particularly super invested in the plot going on, or my companions. And the time management part of the 1st act has been stressing me out. Everything I've seen and heard about Righteous seems like it'd be so much more up my alley. But should I push through and try to finish Kingmaker anyway? I only hesitate because these are such long games. And I don't have a ton of time anyway.Pribyslavitz
