Struggling amateur Science Fiction and Fantasy writer looking for his muse. Any lady 40 and up who has a love for reading Science Fiction and Fantasy, an interest in anime and manga, and has a mind open to new experiences welcomed.
I am currently working on my second novel and have been struggling with writer's block and imposter syndrome, and I am hoping to find someone who can be my muse.
Who am I? I am a what you see is what you get kind of person, so no games, no latent agenda. I am an introvert and a borderline shut in, so not a prince charming by any means. With that, said, I am an easygoing person and a good listener. My politics are left leaning, so socialist, not quite communist.
What am I looking for? Someone is available for chatting on almost daily basis, preferably by voice. I would like someone who will be there to help keep me going when writer's block or my imposter syndrome comes a knocking. If you are a fellow writer, even better, as we can help each other meet our goals.
What I would like in my muse? I want my muse to be kind, smart, witty, opinionated (yes they must have their own thoughts and ideas, just don’t be an ass about it), a little off beat, and take care of themselves. The last one is eating right and doing moderate exercise a couple of times a week, nothing extreme.
I hope to meet my muse soon.
I've recently moved back to Fife, I've got pals in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow so I'm pretty smack bang in the middle. It seems so expensive just to get anywhere from here like £20 return to get to Edinbrugh, for what is esentially a 30-40 min journey.
I've seen cheap buses and stuff as well so might start to look into that.
Also hate that trains are just cancelled willynilly and it can be a wee while until the next one.
How do you choose to get about if you don't drive?

His winter clothes are so feminine, the sleeves are so fancy it just gives off cvnty vibes and I’m honestly here for it.
Only other man I remember wearing something similar is Jeoffery and he was forever serving 😭

Has anybody heard if the club is hosting the Purple Pride 5K again this year?
Last year, I seem to remember sign up around the first week of January with the 5K on February 10th, but I've not seen anything online yet.
I've seen and heard from many people, including recent grads from SFU, UBC, and BCIT, who are struggling to find engineering-related jobs in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. It seems like it’s a common issue, but I’m curious to know if it’s really as tough as it seems. I’ve only applied to a few places so far, but I’m wondering if the job market is truly that competitive and limited, or if there are strategies or hidden opportunities that others have found helpful. Any insights or advice for new grads looking to break into the field would be greatly appreciated!
For context, 35 year old male. Have had /
"Low" testosterone for as long as Ive been an adult. Always had problems losing weight, building muscle, getting proper sleep, and generally low sex drive. Also have a slight case of gynecomastia. Sleep schedule may be due to my job and stress, but I've heard hormone levels also could play a part in that.
After getting some blood work done, it shows my levels are 296 ng/dl, whatever that means. It also says the normal range is 249-836. Obviously it's within range, but on the very low end.
My doctor did say that he could prescribe some injections, but ive never dealt with this before. What kind of side effects would I expect? Would this help with the weight loss/muscle gain (assuming I'm putting in the effort in the kitchen and gym as well)? Would it help or worse the gyno? Is this a life long thing, or just for a few months/years? I'm sure a lot of these are rookie questions, so appreciate the patience. Just trying to do some research and ask the people who have been in similar situations what should be expected, so I can weigh the options of whether I should try it out, or if I'm better off just staying as is.
Thank you
My initial gut reaction leans towards Li on account of having had jaw surgery with him. I’ve read expansion is a bit more complicated post MMA so would hope process would go smoother given his familiarity with his earlier work he performed on me. To that extent - I’m local to NYC and wonder if the convenience of Newazz would be worth any knowledge drop off relative to Li. Also, what are the two of them quoting these days?
Not just unnecessary ecchi scenes being kinda annoying, but straight up destroying the story's potential.
I've been watching anime and reading manga for more than a decade now, but I never really felt that way up until recently, when I watched "The Worlds Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated As An Aristocrat".
This has the very common "focus on boobs" trope, the not so uncommon "upskirt with every chance" trope and the more common than you would think "orgasm expressions in random moments" trope. All these are things I can pretty much ignore, when Im interested in the storyline. But the thing is, at some point the main focus of the plot seem to be those things listed above + the desire of every girl to f*ck the mc. Pair that with the heavy incest and p3do innuendos and this became unbearable for me to watch, and I had to drop it even though I've already watched more than half of it. Its like the author at some point just decided to let out all his personal sexual fantasies and have the actual plot move slowly on the side.
Any anime/manga that made you feel this way?
I had what I thought would be my final interview yesterday (in person) and it went good, but I think my first one was considerably better. My recruiter called me later today to say that they really liked me, particularly my skills, experience and enthusiasm, however they still feel like they haven’t got what they wanted from me as an answer for why I want this job specifically (entry level graduate job) as well as my ability to deal with the stressful parts of what the job entails. Therefore they want to have a final online chat with me so I can answer these questions better. I’m relieved tbh because I was feeling disheartened and it seems like they’re throwing me a bone so that I can cross off this final issue, but I was wondering if this a good sign or not? I really like this job so I’m hoping it is but I want to be realistic.
