Wallbang bug or cheat?

Is this a known bug or a disgusting cheat I've never seen that somehow mitigates damage? ![img](2i1alqkatbee1)

Thoughts on TimeFold?

We use MapBox for VRP. We want to expand to more Scheduling use cases. Looks like TimeFold has both. Anyone have experience with TimeFold in production? Thoughts and comments appreciated.

Growth push will test risk appetite

Am I doing something wrong?

Hey guys. I just signed up for driving Uber Eats yesterday. I spent about 2 hrs and 10 mins online around dinner time and a little after dinner time. I was not downtown, but was in an area with a ton of restaurants and I did not get one single ping. Is this normal? Is it possible something is wrong with my account? Sorry if this thread gets made a ton.

My honest reaction:

24000 piece Educa Life puzzle (mixed bags). Just over 3500 pieces including edges placed so far.

So this is my update on Educa 24000 piece Life puzzle (mixed bags). Currently have anchored 3526 pieces including edges. Been working on this since last couple of days of 2024. Stopped for some break (the fish were killing me and had to step away). I have 16 foam boards. I work on my dining table where I can work on 3 at a time. Doing phased sorting as I tire of sorting so ended up doing all the bright colours first. Still have around 7-8k of pieces to sort but wanted to get some progress.

When it comes to best burgers, you’re all wrong…

The KRK Burger is king as it comes with Nueske’s bacon. Jalapeños available upon request and recommended. Paired with onion rings and a Sprecher’s root beer? Forget it. Last picture is their fish sandwich, tried it for the first time on this trip and glad I did it. So flaky, flavorful and worth a visit. One last note, as a former Texan, this is basically what Whataburger tasted like in its absolute prime.

This...this can't be intentional, right...?

Fire hydrants

Does anyone have any experience with cleaning Fire Hydrants? I'm thinking about going into cities and trying to get them to let me clean their Fire hydrants before they paint them. I was just looking for how long each one would take and how much I should charge for each one. Also, which laser would be best for this? I think if I can at least talk to them about their fire hydrants then I could get into their maintenance vehicles. Getting rid of the rusty chassis's. I have one cities Maintenance Manager interested already.

Spotify not playing podcast episodes when I use uBlockOrigin? Music plays normally though.

It doesn't play the episodes when I click play, it just skips to the next episode which also doesn't play. It then marks the entire episode as watched. Is there a fix for this?

DRZ400sm for first bike

Looking for a first bike. Total beginner, I'm 45, 6ft2 90kg and have been reading (too much) about beginner bikes. I want something to learn on, not a sport bike, capable on the freeway, good for commuting, good handling, LAMS approved (Australia) and something thats a bit of fun but not too crazy. I've landed on the drz400sm as it's a dirt bike so If I was to drop it it might go a bit better. But is the 400sm for riding the roads (I've heard it's terrible on freeway) or is it just for young dudes to do tricks and stuff on? I heard the 400e is a better bike but I'm not great mechanically so wasn't keen on converting an e to an sm ... Don't wanna buy new. From what I've read (this is what I've learned) Svartpilan sounds twitchy and build quality terrible? KTM 390 the same? CBF500 good but a bit Meh? Mt07 too crazy and the suspension is terrible? z 400 too small Lams SV650 not worth the cash for Lams? Versys LAMS okish?? The list goes on. Please point me in the right direction - is the drz400sm a good bike for me (not too interested in offroad) or is there something else? Thanks all

Zombies in Egypt?!

Please excuse the cheesey title, but I had to grap your attention. This is a rant more than anything else. I'm not sure if anyone has observed the same in Egypt these past few years or not, but it has gotten too bad these past 3 years in particular. At least for me. People in Egypt/Masr, outside of fancy upper-class areas have become pretty much zombified. You can see it on their faces, how they interact with others, and how they behave in general. I love to take late evening or early morning walks, and people I encounter on such walks are always grumpy. I don't think I ever saw a face that's not grumpy or depressed, they don't even reply to greetings like "good morning", "good evening", or do it in a half-assed & tired way. People are obviously tired and depressed. More like exhausted, even their faces show it. They don't even bother to give one personal space, often bumping into me with their bodies coz they are too apathetic to move. Completely lost their awareness or care. It's like the idea of unspoken social cues, mutual respect, personal safe, etc has vanished and social apathy has taken place. If one acts decent and civilized, then one is looked down upon, or taken advantage of. The norm & cool thing is to be a rude asshole. The very basic social fabric has been destroyed imo, you would get exhausted from constantly navigating a society where apathy and transactional behaviors are the norm and this would take a toll on your mental health, even if you're trying to hold onto a sense of decency and civility yourself. What's worse, you're hassled everywhere you go. Everyone is hustling, everyone is trying to make a quick buck off of you. People stopped seeing the humanity in others and it's just how much can I screw over the person in front of me. This has become a common behavior among people of almost all classes, from blue collar workers, laborers, etc to white-collar fancy office workers. Everyone is expecting something out of you, something extra, a tip, etc, for whatever reason, even if it's their job. Dealing with people has become a chore, you have to constantly avoid them, or be on guard all the time when interacting not to get screwed over. This is exhausting. This shouldn't be the case. I think the above is the reason why tourists find this country unbearable after a while; it's exhausting living here this way all the time. Unless of course you isolate yourself into a neat bubble of other wealthy folks, you're bound to suffer. You can't even escape this shit coz you gonna face it in government or any other similar situations. I understand the majority of people are suffering and in survival mode, but come on, this is exhausting. I really need to leave this place for good. Rant is over!

I'm a massive savings nerd. Here are the stupidest money mistakes I see people make.

**1. Overpaying for car insurance** The average American saves a whopping $410+ a YEAR ([source](https://betterbuck.net/content/heres-how-much-youre-actually-overpaying-for-car-insurance/?subid=Auto-Savings-Red-Savings-v2-1224-Source)) when they switch auto insurance carriers - sometimes significantly more than that: I saved $1,300 this year. The reason: some carriers offer discount prices to new customers when they switch. Take 30 seconds and go to a 3rd party comparison site ([Coverage.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) and [Auto-Savings.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=otto&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) are both fine) to see if you can find cheaper rates. You’ll likely save yourself a bunch of money. Some people suggest switching every 6 months, that's a little bit overkill imo. Once a year should be fine. **2. Overpaying when you shop online** Big stores like Amazon know that no one has time to price shop through dozens of sites, so there’s often no incentive for them to offer bargain prices. I typically hate browser extensions with a fiery passion, but Capital One Shopping has always worked well for me and I'd recommend trying it ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=capitalone2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). When you shop online (on Amazon or elsewhere) it will automatically compare prices for you, and auto-apply coupon codes when possible. **3. Paying for subscriptions you don't use.** We've all signed up for free trials and forgotten to cancel them. Stop paying for services you aren't using! Take a minute and get yourself a good cancellation app: I like Rocket Money ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view2.php?offer=rocket-money&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). It's an app that will put together a list of your subscriptions so you can pick/choose which ones to cancel. They also have a premium service that will cancel them for you, if you'd like. [Here's a link](https://betterbuck.net/view2.php?offer=rocket-money&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) (it's free). **4. Dealing with debt on your own** If you’ve got $10k+ in unsecured debt (think credit cards, medical bills, etc), you can ask a debt relief company to come in and negotiate it for you. You typically will save around 23% on average (after their fees). Here’s a link to a savings calculator from National Debt Relief's website if you want to see how much you could save: [link here.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=ndr2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) **5. Not having a financial advisor.** You know why so many rich people have financial advisors? It isn't because they're better at picking stocks (spoiler alert: they're not) It's because a good financial advisor will help you with all of the bizarro tax implications you never would have thought of. People with financial advisors end up making \~3% more/year thanks to better tax planning. If you don't know an advisor personally, use a 3rd party comparison site to find somebody with good reviews ([WiserAdvisor](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=wiser&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) is solid). **6. Using normal, low-interest savings accounts** I'm always shocked at the number of people still using garbage savings accounts that pay 0.5% (or less) a year. There are literally hundreds of banks that will pay you 8x that, usually 10x that rate [Here's a link to a bunch of options.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=fiona-savings&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224) **7. Needing cash, but taking out high-interest loans.** So many people take out high-interest payday loans – **please don’t do this**. If you get into trouble you can typically get a relatively low-interest HELOC (a home equity line of credit) Essentially with a HELOC, you’re borrowing against the equity you have in your house and use it for whatever you need (much like a credit card). Typically, you’ll get lower interest rates and more flexible repayment terms compared to traditional loans. Here’s a calculator you can use to see how much/little you could borrow ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=lt-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)). *Side note: if you hate debt, you can still get money out of your home’s equity by using something like* [*Hometap*](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=hometap&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2-1224)*, where you more or less sell investors a portion of your equity without a loan)* \-- There are tons of other things (obviously) but these are the ones that I see the most. Hope that helps.

Female cat possibly going into heat earlier than expected

Hey yall, the title pretty much describes the problem, but to get more detailed: my female cat is 8 months old (born on Mother’s Day) and is seemingly starting to display signs of heat (very very chirpy and hardly wants to stay still, licking downstairs more, no presenting or yowling yet, and still has a good appetite) her spay appointment was set up with the vet for February as they said that was best since she took awhile to put on weight, if we can’t move her appointment, what are some recommendations to get her through her heat? How to limit spraying? Any general advice if you’ve got any, thanks!
